Santa's new reindeer!
Who turned the lights off?
This was the first time Shiner had been ridden bareback. He manuvered around cones, over poles, and over a tarp. We thought we'd see what he'd do if we put the tarp on his head. He didn't seem to mind.
The first ride.
This was taken right after Mike mounted Shiner for the very first time at age 2. Just another day in school.

Welcome Baby Bugsy
Welcome Baby Bugsy
We were there when Bugsy was born on 8 April 2002. Seeing this is like witnessing a miracle.
Scenic Blue Step
Scenic Blue Step
Scenic Blue Step, 1999 Black Tobiano Mare. We purchased Blue as a weanling, started her in our fashion and she had a successful show career as a yearling. Blue is shown here after winning a yearling longe line class. We sold her as a two year old.
Country Disaster Jason
No bridle A long ride
Shown in these four photos is Jason, a 1978 AQHA gelding registered as Country Disaster. I raised him from a weanling. In these pictures with Mike, Jason was still going strong at the age of 21. He was a great companion for 22 years until his death in 2000 due to complications of colic.

Shiner and Mike ringing in 2002! A couple of Party Animals!
Blake and Shiner Congratulations to Blake and her purchase of Shiner. Shiner was not actually for sale, it was as though the two found each other and it's been a terrific match. She and Shiner are beginning a new chapter in their lives. Shiner is currently in reining training and you can expect to see him and Blake in the show ring starting in the fall.
